What is a sentence without a period?

Or a period without a sentence?
It must be hunted either way—partial
babble, and annoying as a tick bite;
instead it errs the entire thing!
One cannot exist without the other,
and fish thinks this about water, but
water denies the same truth—
and so are we too, fooling around
a burning fire, and smelling of
its crude-like extract;
only my side is heated while yours
provide light—it’s actually quite clumsy;
and myself playing the period because
you are able to mean independently,
and so I am mocked!
